Kara′s Goo Hara gave a present, instead of receiving one, on her birthday from the heart, posting a handwritten letter addressed to her fans.

On her 23rd birthday on January 13th, Goo Hara tweeted a long letter she had written

Translations:

“Hello! This is Goo Hara,” the letter started, then went on, “I′m shaking while I′m writing this letter with a pen in my hand for the first time in such a long time. First of all, it′s 2013, the year of the snake! Happy New Year.”

She then added, “These days the weather has been wishy washy and really cold. Get something warm and good to eat and take care of yourselves. We′re all having good food and taking care of ourselves too, so you don′t have to worry! You know we′re strong.”

“I′ve always been on the receiving end of letters, so I don′t know what I should say now that I′m writing one,” she said. “So embarrassing. When you write your letters, you think everything over and grip your paper tightly to make your handwriting prettier, right? I′m doing so right now.”

She then thanked her fans, saying, “Today′s my birthday! That′s why I′m writing this letter, to thank you for your congratulations and tell you that I thank you. I don′t know what to do with myself because you always watch over me with your support, warmth and love. I want to be a better person and I want to be bolder, but I′m still too young and I can′t keep up with who I want to be.”

She finished, “Since 2013 has dawned, I′ll work harder this year not to let you down. I hope your wishes all come true and that you′ll stay healthy and happy in 2013. I love you~♡”

Kara recently performed in front of 48,000 people on January 6 at the Karasia 2013 Happy New Year in Tokyo Dome concert.
