A 20 course meal was bestowed upon me last night in celebration of my 21 birthday……hehehe
Happy Birthday to me…..
Thanks to all my friends and family!
I asked for Strength
And was given Difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for Wisdom
And was given Problems to solve.
I asked for Prosperity
And was given a Brain and Brawn to work.
I asked for Courage
And was given Danger to overcome.
I asked for Love
And was given Troubled people to help.
I asked for Favors
And was given Opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted.
I received everything I needed.

Life is finally getting back on track.
I just want to thank a special person who told me to recognize my worth and my hard work towards a better future. You know who you are. I am working hard for my future.
Here’s a poem for all those who have fallen down and resilient enough to get back up:
Kudos to you!
I miss you Happy Kim….
To those of you who have pushed me –
Without you I wouldn’t have fallen.
To those of you who laughed at me –
Without you I wouldn’t have cried.
To those of you who just couldn’t love me –
Without you I wouldn’t have known real love.
To those of you who hurt my feelings –
Without you I wouldn’t have felt them.
To those of you who left me lonely –
Without you I wouldn’t have discover myself.
But it is to those of you who thought I couldn’t do it
It is you I thanked the most
Because without you I wouldn’t have tried!

Andrew Boyd in Daily Afflictions
“We are all seeking that special person who is right for us. But if you have been through enough relationships, you begin to suspect there is no right person, just different flavours of wrong.
Why is this? Because you yourself are wrong in some way, and you seek out partners who are wrong in some complementary way. But it takes a lot of living to grow fully into your own wrongness. It isn’t until you finally run up against your deepest demons, your unsolvable problems, the ones that make you who you truly are, that you are ready to find a lifelong mate. Only then do you finally know what you are looking for.
You are looking for the wrong person. But not just any wrong person: the “right” wrong person, someone you lovingly gaze upon and think ‘This is the problem I want to have’.
