Manila, Philippines – Korean boy band sensation 2PM is coming for its first-ever concert in Manila this March. The most awaited Philippine concert debut dubbed as 2013 2PM LIVE TOUR in Manila “What time is it” is set to thrill audiences on March 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Known for their smashing hits and acrobatic dance moves, 2PM members Ok Taecyeon, Jang Wooyoung, Jun.K, Hwang Chanseong, Lee Junho and Nichkhun will perform their hit singles such as “Hands Up”, “Heart Beat”, “Again and Again” and “Crazy Over You” for its Filipino fans in this one-night-only concert.

The award-winning group has performed in sold-out venues for their thousands of fans in South Korea, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand; and this year, Manila has been chosen as the very first stop to launch the 2013 2PM LIVE TOUR “What time is it” world series. After the Philippines, 2PM will continue to visit the rest of their Asian fans with a concert at the Guangzhou Gymnasium in Guangzhou, China on March 30 and at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on April 8.

“In the past years, 2PM has conquered the whole of Asia and the world and we are excited to bring them to the Philippines for the first time to give thousands of their Filipino fans the chance to witness their outstanding performances live,” shares Nian Rigor, Head of IMC of Hoopla Inc, the local co-promoter of this one-night-only concert.

2PM is under the management of JYP Entertainment who also handles the Kpop girl group sensation Wonder Girls. The South Korean boy band has been awarded by Oricon music chart for their 2PM Live 2012 Six Beautiful Days as one of the best concerts in Japan last year. They have also won the New Artist of the Year and Best New Artist in Asia at the 26th Japan Gold Disc Award, and got the Best Group Video award at the MTV Video Music Award in Japan last year.

Ticket prices of What Time Is It: 2PM Live Tour in Manila are: VIP1 (standing) P11,500; VIP2 (standing) P11,500; VIP3 (standing) P9,000; Lower Box A (seated) P7,000; Lower Box B (seated) P6,000; Upper Box (seated) P3,300; and General Admission (seated) P1,000.

A recent photo of 2PM‘s Nichkhun has become a hot topic of interest among netizens lately.

On January 31, Nichkhun uploaded the photo on his twitter with the caption, “Farewell, Osaka! I will return someday. Anyway, here’s a photo of me and my little friend who got separated from his mother. I hope you have a wonderful day.”

2PM successfully embarked on their 2013 arena tour “LEGEND of 2PM,” starting in Marine Messe, Fukuoka on January 11 and 12.

The “LEGEND of 2PM” includes 13 concerts at 6 different locations over two months expected to mobilize 150,000 fans.

The highly-anticipated concert began with 2PM’s unique appearance as excited fans filled up the venue showing their support. 2PM fascinated 20,000 fans over a two day period.

2PM began their concert with Japanese tracks “Beautiful” and “Masquerade” featuring their powerful energy followed by solo stages of members that included performances of self-composed songs.

Fans were given a preview of 2PM’s 2nd Japanese studio album Legend of 2PM that is to release on February 13.

2PM members prepared surprise birthday event for Jun. K for his upcoming birthday, celebrated with 10,000 fans.

2PM shared their thoughts of kicking off the arena tour, “We couldn’t sleep because of excitement for our 2nd arena tour. It was memorable to have this time to meet with fans again and will be preparing hard for the remaining performances. We thank you for all the love and support.”

2PM will continue their tour in Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo and Sapporo.
